As for Stewart's appearance, I would not have expected him to pull a FOX news anchor stunt and berate or scream at anyone. That isn't Stewart's style. I do believe he is correct in that FOX and many other organizations (loosely define as news outlets have gone way over the edge with their frenzied, panic stricken reporting, designed to get ratings. If the media recognized it's responsibility to report logically and objectively and to stop editorializing or expressing personal opinion, perhaps the American public would calm down a bit and learn to think rationally. It is equally disturbing however that the public can no longer think for itself or form its own opinions. We see it every day in the news and on reality TV. Sad to say…the world ain't what it used to be!
