It usually takes more than "... a movie that’s not top of the line, but partially entertaining...." However, you had me at "...the little homage’s to Travolta’s character in Pulp Fiction." And I relized it would of course be foolhardy of me to dispel the advice a wild little Gimper on anything Pulp Fiction, or Travolta.

I'd say you're a natural at entertainment and review. But do you suppose that John Travolta studies a Myers-Briggs profile of the personality of each roll he performs? Or what about Reece for instance...the "thinker with no phone batteries".

I wonder if Julia Roberts had to study for "Pretty Women"...or was she just a natural - ENFP. What about an oldie, like say, Steve McQueen in The Thomas Crown Affair? I would venture a guess that Anthony Hopkins studied in depth for his roll's type in Silence of the Lambs, and the follow-up love story "Hannibal" (INTJ)...gotta say, he nailed the type preferences in both performances.

At any rate, you're a good read...keep on inspiring with ya bad selfy self!
