The international trailer for Warner Bros’ Clash of the Titans remake has just been released, and it’s filled with footage of Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson. In the teaser and the first domestic trailer you barely see or hear from either of them but they’re letting their presence be known this time around. Here’s the international version…

In the 2010 version of Clash of the Titans, Sam Worthington plays the bastard son of Zeus who gets caught in a power struggle between the gods. Hades is the film’s villain, the vengeful god of the Underworld, and a brave Perseus volunteers to take him down when his family falls victim to his merciless hand. From that point on he makes it his life’s mission to keep him from gaining Zeus’s power and unleashing hell on earth.

In this international trailer, Ralph Fiennes’ voice is one of the first things you hear, and boy does he need a throat lozenge. You also see more of Liam Neeson’s resilient and shiny Zeus suit, making both actors stand out in this cut of the trailer. When Zeus stood in the sunlight barking out orders, he almost looked like Edward Cullen after he exposed his sparkly self to Bella, but then again drawing any comparison between Twilight and Neeson is just wrong.

The trailer runs at about 2 minutes and 10 seconds, and reveals a LOT more than the others. I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing, you be the judge…
