I still have her on a phone tape, leaving a message. In the words of her character Sargeant Sarah Brown in GUYS & DOLLS, she can honestly say with her head held high : If I were a bell I'd go Ding-Dong-Ding-Dong-Ding !!!! In the inimitable words of Jean Simmons the person I spoke to on the phone I remember her saying 'Darling - I've worked with them all........' RIP JEAN we are missing you already.
