More Percy Jackson and The Olympians Posters
By Krystal ClarkWe’ve already brought you several posters promoting the upcoming action film, Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and now we’ve got two more. These are character banners that feature Uma Thurman as Medusa and Pierce Brosnan as Chiron. Both characters are very well known throughout Greek Mythology and will be portrayed a little differently than what we’re used to seeing…
Percy Jackson and The Olympians centers on Poseidon’s half human son, who sets out on a quest in present-day America to rescue his mother, return Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and prevent a civil war from erupting among the gods. Three character banners have already been released for Percy, Annabeth and Grover and now we have one for Medusa and Chiron, but there’s one problem.
In the poster for Medusa it cites her name as Hera, which is an obvious typo. The role of Hera will be played by Erica Cerra, and even though this poster is in another language you can see that error a mile away. Medusa’s head wrap is a dead giveaway of what she’s hiding on her scalp, and the shaggy look of Chiron is an obvious shout out to his half horse roots.
Check out the two posters below…
Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief will hit theaters on February 12, 2010.
What do you think of the character banners for Medusa and Chiron?

I have read all the Percy Jackson books except The Last Olympian and I can't put it down. I am one of the biggest fans. I love the books and I can't wait for the movie. I just hope I can be in one of the movies someday. Maybe the Sea OF Monsters . Or in The Titans Curse as Zoe Nightshade or Bianca di Angelo. Go Percy!

The Lightning Thief is my favorite book. I am working on the Battle of the Labyrinth right now, about 20 pages away from finishing. I can't wait until the movie. I've been waiting since 2009 when I started reading the series. Annabeth is my favorite chracter.

Best book series ever! I just have to re-read The Battle of The Labyrinth and I'll be able to say I've read the series twice. Thalia's definitely my favorite character. Although I hate how they messed up on the movie so much (ex: leaving things out and changing things), it turned out pretty good. So, a million thumbs up for Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon!
