Golden Globes 2010 Winners List
By Krystal ClarkThe show is over folks and the winners of the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards have been announced. The night was full of surprises including James Cameron‘s complete domination for Best Director and Best Motion Picture Drama for Avatar. I guess The Hollywood Foreign Press aren’t that fond of The Hurt Locker. Without further ado, check out the rest of the winners from this evening’s ceremony…
The Golden Globes shook up the usual list of award winners with this year’s selection. We saw plenty of mainstays like Mo’Nique and Christoph Waltz but everything else was tossed to the wind. Sandra Bullock won the Best Actress in a Drama award for her performance in The Blind Side, which threw me for a loop. She beat out Carey Mulligan for her performance in An Education, who’s been seen as the front runner for the Oscar.
Another pleasant surprise was Robert Downey Jr for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical. He was up against Daniel Day-Lewis for Nine, and whenever Daniel’s involved it’s never good for the competition, but in this case it was. The only down side was the loss for Joseph Gordon-Levitt who seemed really excited to be there. There were plenty of long overdue honors given out this evening, and here’s the rest of the list of who won and for what.
