Golden Globes 2010: Robert Downey Jr. Wins Best Actor In A Comedy-Musical
By JCRobert Downey Jr. snags the award for Best Actor in A Motion Picture Comedy-Musical! Written by Michael Johnson and directed by Guy Ritchie, Sherlock Holmes is still reigning number five at the box office.
Check out Downey Jr.’s competition below..
To be frank, I wasn’t aware that Sherlock Holmes WAS a comedy…or a musical, for that matter. But alas, Downey Jr. takes the gold. Why? We’ll never know. I will say, however, that the man can successfully woo a crowd – his acceptance speech was a 3 minute mock of not only his career, but the entire awards ceremony. Hilarious? Or Annoying? I vote annoying.

- Matt Damon, The Informant!
- Daniel Day-Lewis, Nine
- Robert Downey Jr., Sherlock Holmes
- Joseph Gordon-Levitt, (500) Days of Summer

Can't deny it: he's a born actor! Witty, too. May he and Susan live happily ever after.
