conan leno nbs1 14 10 Vote: Leno Vs Conan Vs NBC Who is to Blame?

Conan is out, Jay is in. NBC has reportedly given Leno the Tonight Show from 11:35 – 12:35. So, how big are Jay Leno’s balls for going through with this and putting the red-head out of a job? Or is that really the case.

It is still unclear exactly what has happened in this whole scuffle but one this is for sure, there are a lot of questions to be asked. And whose fault is it really? Is Leno just taking a spot that is rightfully his? Or has he had his time to shine? Is this a battle between to entertainers or are both of these men simply two victims of a network? And most importantly, will you watch Leno on the Tonight Show?

Let us know below!

Who do you think is responsible for Leno's new job?

How about a third option on that second poll… "I don't watch either show, but fair is fair, people."

Conan is the bigger man here, he refused to have the Tonight Show at a later time because he was aware of what that would mean to Jimmy in the Late Night Show. NBC should have just canceled the Leno show, it was the one with the bad ratings! Because of his show all this happened. It also didn't make sense since the beginning that they gave Leno his own show, I thought when they had named Conan the next host of the Tonight Show 5 years ago, that it was because Leno was going to leave…And what makes the situation even worse is that Leno had said himself that he'll back out if his show doesn't do well.. now he is insisting to keep his show at a later time even though his ratings were bad? What the hell is he thinking? and what the hell is NBC thinking letting talent like Conan go away? I hope the Tonight Show fails with Leno, which I'm sure it will.

Team Conan all way! My husband and I love Conan! We watched him when he did the Late Night Show and we still love him now! We like how he pokes fun of himself.

Jay Leno is funny and Conan needs to go to comedy school.

I've missed Leno in that time slot. Conan is arrogant, juvenile, obnoxious and not funny even if he laughs at his own jokes. Letterman is a bore so I have turned to Nightline lately. I'll be glad to have Leno back. Conan can continue to be in love with himself, but I won't miss him. Good riddance.

Jay Leno never wanted to leave the Tonight Show. NBC thought Conan would attrack a younger "more desired" viewer, that did not happen—David Letterman ended up the big winner. It is not fair to blame Jay. Blame NBC, or blame the viewing public.

Wow, let's just say you were never the class clown, in fact you probably were that quiet angry guy in the corner, that hated anyone that made everyone laugh in the class. You sure have lot of negative opinions on Conan, but may I ask (since you never explain) may I ask, what is it about Leno and his show that you find funny? or entertaining ?

leno never said he was retiring. nbc is the true villian here. they are screwing both parties. i don't blame leno for wanting to have a show, why should he be forced into retirement? i don't blame o'brien for being pissed off about the situation either. he was promised the tonight show & though they are letting him keep the name they are screwing with the time slot.

how would you feel if you were in a job for 17 years, were at the top of your field and your employer gave your job to someone else? yes, 5 years ago leno agreed to it, but it still was nbc who arranged this travesty. they were doiing what they thought would make both o'brien & leno happy & stay with the network. what they have accomplished is pissing both of them off & alienating the audience.

leno & o'brien should get together & agree to both leave nbc with jay going to abc & conan going to fox.

i love leno, nbc was so stoopid to do the switch in the first place…the network exec who thought that up should be canned for getting conan out of job ultimately. btw conan aint that funny. LENO RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leno and O'brien could not make this agreement on their own. Fox and ABC would need to be in on the deal.

leno's monologue is full of sexual inenunedo … nothing creative. He has a tendency to put down or make his guest feel awkward… he doesn't act as a "host". Conan is creative, funny, self-deprecating, original, and respective of his guests. PLEASE keep Conan on for your thinking audience!

Conan's monologues are funny, but I definitely, on the whole, think Leno's show is better. I like Leno's monologues too, but sometimes his material is a bit dated—–as when he does his "George Bush doesn't get it jokes." I mean Bush is no longer president, and has basically stayed out of the spotlight for a year!!!

CONAN is the best! I will not watch NBC AT ALL if CONAN gets the boot. I get off at 1100 pm and I watch CONAN at 1135 . He makes me laugh every single night before I go to sleep . CONAN YOU ARE THE MAN!!! GOD BLESS!

I preferred Leno before and now even more so after I have experienced Conan. He is a bit immature but very rich, so he can't complain: NBC bought out Conan for $45 million! Young, ivy league education, and a multi-milliionaire…… so he has plenty more in his future. I am just so happy that Leno is back. Leno was heart broken to be shoved out in the first place when his show has been number one the last five years, at least.
