The fact that Ms. Clark finds it necessary to refer to her GH viewing as a "guilty pleasure" speaks volumes, I think. When a person is secure and self-confident regarding their intellectual capabilities, they, generally, don't feel the need to either qualify and/or make disclaimers about ANYTHING that they choose to watch (and so the fact that Ms. Clark has found it necessary to do both is interesting, to say the least). I, personally, mostly watch PBS (Yes, I really am one of those people!), but I also watch Survivor, Celebrity Apprentice, and, for 7 glorious seasons, was completely and totally obsessed with The Shield (and I don't feel either guilty and/or ashamed in the slightest about any of it). I also happen to like General Hospital and I honestly cannot think of anything that I have, recently, enjoyed more than James Franco's gleeful and off-the-wall performance as the murderous and sociopathic "artist known as Franco." Good acting is good acting--regardless of genre--and anyone who pans an actor's performance (and for no legitimate reason other than a "guilty" feeling for admitting that they--gasp!--watch a soap) is nothing more than a silly and pretentious twirp. The fact is, James Franco was absolutely terrific in his cameo role on GH and if you happen to be one of his fans, I really hope that you didn't miss this.

Bottom line I repent or change my mind for saying anything that seemed negative about James Franco, He is a very good actor, and like I said he redeemed his choices for me in the end. I really don't enjoy a spirit of criticism against anyone. This was my first open poll opinion, You have to admit most of the actors on General Hospital are exceptional. He was brave to make an experiment such as working on Gh, it definitely did the show a lot of Good!!!

Ms. Krystal Clark:____How old are you, and what do you know about acting? I have some experience in the field, and I think I can tell the difference between good and bad acting. But really, anyone with some sort of analytical and critical mind can see for themselves that James Franco is a great actor. He's a method actor so he essentially becomes his character, identifies with him and his actions. On GH, his character is basically a sociopath and he is 'over the top'! And that is exactly how he portrays him...and very well I might add.____Your comments were disappointing because I actually defended soap viewers against the very thing you are doing. In his article, he stated that he feared he would disrupt the viewers' suspension of disbelief because people wouldn't be able to see past the celebrity to really see the character. I wrote that he was wrong, but maybe he was right after all.

You're probably thinking of another soap. GH has never been close to cancellation except in the late 70s. The ABC soap that's in danger of being canceled is One Life to Live. GH is ABC Daytime's favorite for some reason. Mobsters and guns, hooray! If ABC had to start canceling their soaps, GH would be the last one on the list.

He is fantastic...GH has not sizzled like this for a very long time now!!!
It needed James Franco to make it what it used to be and give the afternoon viewers some sexy back !! It was starting to get sort of boring but this storyline is kicking it into high gear.
You rock James Franco ~ your doing a great job.
A Devoted fan-
