The third season of True Blood will be filled to the brim with new characters and actors thanks to the latest casting developments. Over the past few weeks we’ve heard that Alfre Woodard will appear next season as Lafayette’s mother, and Joe Manganiello as a possible new love interest for Sookie. Now Lindsay Pulsipher can add her name to the expanding pile of stars who are taking a trip down to the dirty south.
The last time we heard from Pulsipher she was busy with her stint in the ensemble feature, Do Not Disturb, and now the young actress has landed a spot on the highly coveted hit True Blood. According to Bloody Disgusting, she’s booked a role as a series regular, but her character’s name has yet to be revealed. There’s no word on exactly who she’ll interact with or whether or not she’ll play a good or a bad girl, but either way she’ll have the opportunity to see Alexander Skarsgard on a daily basis, and who doesn’t want that?
Pulsipher has appeared on the CBS dramas NCIS, Touched by an Angel, and CSI: New York, and has made her mark on broadcast television. Now she’s moving on to the cable giant HBO, and who knows what her future might hold. If you’re interested in seeing more of Lindsay’s work you can check out some of the production stills from her portion of Do Not Disturb entitled, Oceans Away.
What do you think of the latest addition to the True Blood cast? Who do you think Pulsipher’s character will interact with?
