Earlier today news broke that actress Brittany Murphy unexpectedly died at the age of 32. Even though she was young, Murphy had an extensive resume that spanned all genres of film and television. She began her acting career as a television regular and then went on to star in the pop culture phenomenon Clueless. Murphy made appearances in television throughout the nineties with guest spots on Sister, Sister, Boy Meets World, and Blossom. Her big screen break came when she starred as Tai, the naive makeover victim of Alicia Silverstone in Clueless. From that point on her career began to rise with roles in Girl, Interrupted, Riding in Cars With Boys, Don’t Say a Word, 8 Mile, and Sin City. Amongst all of her success, Murphy still found time to voice Luann Platter on Mike Judge’s animated series, King of the Hill.

Another actress die before her real fame has come. I don't want to spread any gossip, but watching her skinny body makes me think – was she anorectic? Did that caused her death?

Rumor is it was drug related. But she was such an underrated actress. LOVED her in Girl, Interrupted. I think she was the most memorable character in that movie. Her performance was heartbreaking
