Blunt's spot stolen by Bullock? Mmmmm… someone's not paying attention. Sandra Bullock at this point is generally seen as the fourth nominee in the category (and fourth runner for an Oscar nomination). Blunt, Mirren, Cornish, Ronan & Cotillard all seem to be in the running for the fifth slot (with Blunt and Mirren out in front). I don't know why anyone's shocked or thinks Bullock "stole" a spot from another actress at this point. Golden Globe nomination, BFCA nomination, now a SAG nomination. She's a real contender, whether people like it or not. Simply because she's usually in romantic comedies, that doesn't for some reason make her less of an actor or less deserving of recognition when she turns in a great performance like she did in The Blind Side. I hope she wins the whole thing (she won't) just so people can stop blathering about how she didn't even deserve a nomination (not that they will, but it'll be fun to see their misplaced rage at something so silly).
