Official Iron Man 2 Trailer
By Krystal Clark
Yes! The Iron Man 2 trailer is finally here! Word spread like wild fire that Paramount would debut the film’s first trailer in front of the Guy Ritchie flick, Sherlock Holmes but we’ve got it for you right here, right now! Are you ready for Iron Man, War Machine, Black Widow, and Nick Fury? Come get some…
Over at Apple, they premiered the first trailer and it’s everything you imagined it would be. A lot of the footage was previously shown at this year’s Comic-Con but the editing here is a lot better. In the trailer we see the dramatic introduction of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes, who came in to replace Terrence Howard from the first film. Speaking of new characters, check out Mickey Rourke as Whiplash, Sam Rockwell as a smug Justin Hammer, and Scarlett Johannson has a seductive Black Widow.
We get a peek into the life of Tony Stark now that his superhero identity has been made public, thanks to his announcement at the end of the first movie. He exposed himself, which has left him open to various enemies like Rourke’s Ivan Vanko. Rourke speaks in a heavy Russian accent through a portion of the trailer but Johannson’s Natasha doesn’t say one word. She’s also supposed to have a thick accent. What’s up with that?
What do you think of the first trailer for Iron Man 2?
