A New Iron Man 2 Photo

We recently posted the first theatrical poster for Iron Man 2 and just last week, we got news that the film’s teaser trailer would make its debut with Robert Downey Jr.’s latest film Sherlock Homes. The promos keep coming, and today we have another production photo taken from the film for your enjoyment.

Although the trailer is less than two weeks away, new photos of Tony Stark are always welcome. Today, Paramount released this image of Downey in character in some sort of lab, sporting a set of fashionable red goggles. This photo could fall in line with the previous ones we’ve seen, by showing Tony hard at work on some type of project.

At this point their all starting to look the same, and it makes me wonder if they lead up to an image of him in the suit? He is supposed to be wearing an upgraded version this time around, which was partially revealed to us in the poster. It doesn’t look that exciting, but something is going on here.

Iron Man 2 is directed by Jon Favreau and is set to hit theaters on May 7, 2010.
