2009 New York Film Critics Circle Award Winners

After taking down the Los Angeles Film Critics Association Award for Best Picture, The Hurt Locker locked another big regional critics society, The New York Film Critics Circle, when it was once again awarded as this year’s best film. In fact, many of the major awards mirrored those of the West Coast groups, with another big boost for In The Loop, as the British comedy was recognized for having the Best Screenplay.
