Ben Stiller doesn’t appear in James Cameron‘s Avatar in any shape or form, but that didn’t stop the actor from going on The Tonight Show with Conan O’ Brien to promote the movie. In a hilarious and unconventional interview, Stiller states that he along with several other actors who have nothing to do with the film have been asked by Fox to promote the movie. I’m not sure if this is an inside joke or what, but see for yourself.
In the video, Stiller tells O’Brien that working with Cameron is great, according to Billy Zane from the DVD extras of Titanic. The interview gets even weirder when Stiller busts out an actual clip from the film to show the audience. At this point you have to wonder where he got this stuff. He literally showed 30 seconds of the movie, and said that it took 4 and a half years to make.
There has to be another reason that Stiller’s doing promotion for Avatar. Maybe a close family relative is being held captive by Cameron’s camp, who knows? The best way to understand his bizarre behavior is to watch it.
What do you think is going on between Stiller and Cameron?
