Clint Eastwood is a great actor. If he is ready to retire from acting, then he should. Clint will always be remembered. Good luck in directing more movies. You are one of the great actors of al time.

Clint Eastwood did his time on camera.He is a gifted and facinating director.I say Kudos to Mr.Eastwood for his decision.It doesn't mean its permanent ,but his desire to step away from the two jobs he's been doing.I love him in front or behind the camera.God bless you Clint Eastwood.Bravo!

Play Misty for Me , Dirty Harry. High Plains Drifter The Outlaw Josey Wales, The Gauntlet,and the comedy Every Which Way But Loose with old Clyde the orangutan. Wonder if he is still around.

Escape from Alcatraz . Sudden Impact , Firefox, Tightrope, Pale Rider, Heartbreak Ridge , The dead pool, Pink Cadillac, The Rookie. Unforgiven, Line of Fire, Bridges of Madison County, Space Cowboys, True Crime, and Blood Work.

What a life. What an accomplishment. I'm sure as Mr. Eastwood does that I would like to go back to the 50's and do it all over again.

He deserves to retire like everybody else. He has done for movies like everybody else has done for movies, he will be missed but he deserves a life that is not so agressive anymore. So I say GOOD for you RETIRE and live your life for your family and that beautiful daughter of yours. You can still be behind the camera and that is good enough for me so if the rest of the world does not like it than let me be a actor for a day and see how they like it. Happy Retirement –now go ahead and make YOUR DAY not everybody else's. Hope your holiday will be at home with your family.

I remember watching the television show "Rawhide" Clint, you knew would go far from that show on.
I knew he was headed for the big time an he has surpassed my expectations greatly.
Never a hint of scandal, a very private person and privtae family life. I wish alot of actors would emulate Clint., rather than seek bizaar publicity. Clint in front or behind the lens is great.
