During the hunt the Lucky finds a ship that has landed and foung a grave. the treee limb gall, body and all, has been excised and experimented on. An txtract has absoute geriatrict properties, return to youth, physically. Ie: Unobtanium. The war is against the version of army ants, vastly destructive. Good Hunter dies in the war. Lucky finds a different type of army and and lures them into contact with the Home Tree destroyers, and wins the girl. Meanwhile he has discovered that the explorer ship is alone in knowing. he uses a Storm Treadder tree vine to conduct lightning into the ship. Bang Boom no more ship. Avatar is a stupidity. If the marines wanted the tree removed a very small rock thrown from space would be the very thing to rid them of the indigines, the tree, the animals for many miles around and possibly the method of terraforming theatmosphere.

Avatar is based on a SciFi story writen about 30 years ago. A grop of colonists crash on the planet. the suvivors manage to get into a Home Tree. this is a tree that has vines that allow only the residents of the tree to enter. Passage through the vines is by spitting in a flower, the tree recognizes eaters of its fruit. Dead residents are buried by entombing them in a grave tree. In the grave they are incorporated into the system. The two antagonists are two hunters, one good, one lucky. The quest is for a womans hand, of course.

I think this reveiw, article, whatever you want to call it is pathetic and does not do Avatar any justice. James Cameron is one of, if not the best film writer and producer of our time. Your lack of imagination and potentiall to enjoy what the film offers is sad. Okay, this may be biased but I'm the biggest Avatar fan going (hint is in the email) I have seen the film over 100 times and 5 times in 3D and everytime I watch it, it gets better and better. You need to watch it and stop slagging it off at every chance you get. And to all you who say it's 'rubbish' or 'a child could have wrote it', shut up. Go and learn to apreciate the things that the film has to offer instead of critisizing it's faults. idiots.

and you think you have some superior sense of know what happens in movies? That message could not have been easier to see it was blunt and in your face. It is as though a child wrote it. I can all but garuntee that if you removed the fancy cgi, and beautiful backdrops the movie would have been boring. This is a prime example of a pretty and flashy glazing making people think that the story was good. It is a dated and obvious point that the story makes, no one will argue that we have an adverse impact on the environment. Watch it again, but only listen to it. it is boring and terribly blunt. A little bit of subtlty would have made it better, that and a bit of originality (other than the graphics)
