Mickey Rourke’s Iron Man 2 Poster
By Krystal Clark
Holy holiday crap! Another Iron Man 2 poster has been released and this time it’s of Mickey Rourke as Whiplash. The actor plays the Russian criminal who’s literally after Tony Stark’s heart. Paramount has already released the first domestic and international posters for the film, and this one is a worthy follow up.
Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the highly anticipated sequel to the blockbuster film based on the legendary Marvel Super Hero Iron Man, reuniting director Jon Favreau and Oscar nominee Robert Downey Jr. In Iron Man 2, the world is aware that billionaire inventor Tony Stark (Downey Jr.) is the armored Super Hero Iron Man. Under pressure from the government, the press and the public to share his technology with the military, Tony is unwilling to divulge the secrets behind the Iron Man armor because he fears the information will slip into the wrong hands. With Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), and James “Rhodey” Rhodes (Don Cheadle) at his side, Tony forges new alliances and confronts powerful new forces.
This Whiplash poster is pretty bad ass, but you know what would make it even better? A mask. It would really kick his costume into high gear. If this is what he’ll look like for the majority of the film you have to wonder, why is his body so exposed? Iron Man and War Machine have boatloads of metal armor, and he’s practically topless. Hopefully, they’ll do something about that.

Iron Man 2 will debut in theaters on May 7, 2010.
What do you think of Whiplash’s Iron Man 2 poster?

Great poster. Anything with Mickey is great. I saw Eric Roberts in Butcher. It is good to see Eric
in movies again, thanks to you Mickey. When is any other movies coming out? Let us know.
Love all your movies, I have almost seen them all. Love you Mickey, be happy, but don't marry
some one so young. You know about life 33 years beyond her. Think about that. Stars go around
years without marring. Be Smart Doll.

[...] version highlights them and much more. The bottom portion literally copies and pastes the character banner that features Mickey Rourke as Whiplash onto it, and everyone else appears to be in headshot form. [...]
