Movie Releases: The Road, Old Dogs, Ninja Assassin…
By Kara Stanford-Jones
After you’ve stuffed yourself into an oblivion after Thanksgiving dinner or successfully made it out of the mall alive on Black Friday, check out what’s playing at your local theater. The first choice is the family-friendly comedy starring Robin Williams and John Travolta, entitled Old Dogs. It’s certainly the safe pick for when the grandparents and young kids are in town, but you might be better off renting a movie everyone can enjoy.
Next in line is The Road, the Cormac McCarthy adaptation that stars Viggo Mortensen. It won’t be the most uplifting film, but it’s worth checking out. Finally, there is Ninja Assassin, which is literally an ass-kicking action flick that stars Korean pop star, Rain.
