New Daybreakers Trailer

A new trailer for the vampire flick Daybreakers has been released and it gives us a little more information than the previous version. The film is directed by the the Spierig brothers and takes a different approach to vampire lore. It stars Ethan Hawke and Sam Neill in a deliciously evil role.

In Daybreakers, the vampires have the upper hand and have wiped out the majority of the human race. The few people who are left are used as food banks for the current population to feed off of. The only problem with their current situation is the loss of human harvesters. The blood supply is running low and they need more of it, but with less humans and more vampires they find themselves in a bad predicament.

Ethan Hawke’s character is a doctor/scientist who thinks he has found a cure to turn them back into humans. Within the trailer you get to see Sam Neill resembling his character Damien in The Omen III, which can catch you off guard. He comes across and very cold and calculating in the few scenes you see him in. There’s also a glimpse of Isabel Lucas from Transformers who is shown making a call on a cell phone, while hiding behind a car.
