Movie Releases: New Moon, Planet 51, The Blind Side…

If you’re a movie coming out this weekend that doesn’t have a vampire or a werewolf as its central character, you’re screwed. No one stands a chance against the Goliath that is New Moon, but here are a list of today’s opening releases that will more than likely be overshadowed by drawn on abs and red contacts.

If you’re looking for a heart-warming drama, check out Sandra Bullock’s new film, The Blind Side, and for a more kid-friendly vibe there’s the animated alien feature, Planet 51. The rest of the films listed are in limited release, so check out the tickets and times to see if they’re playing at a theater near you.
