This is a bold and interesting move by Branagh and crew and I'm totally excited by it. Now that I see they have knocked down Asgard's color barrier, I may have to get my incredibly fit, handsome, Black self to New Mexico to try to get in as an extra. At Ragnarok he's the first to know of the coming reckoning and the last to fall as he and Loki kill each other. I'm not sure which is dorkier information, but in the comics he's also pretty badass, whose senses are so acute that he can see the near future. Also, I suppose I'm the only one that finds the humor in the casting since Heimdall is known as the "Whitest of the Gods", due to his valor, of course. Now that I got that out, the casting for this movie has made me excited for this film. First Zatoichi and now Stringer? Wheeee!
