percy jackson and the olympians international trailer

An international trailer has just been released by 20th Century Fox for Percy Jackson and The Olypmians: The Lightning Thief. The film is based on one of the many stories in the popular Percy Jackson book series written by Rick Riordan. The latest trailer looks a little better than the previous two, but we’ll let you be the judge of that.

As compared the the previous trailer releases the international version has a one up because they actually show one of the gods we care about. Medusa finally makes an appearance in all her snake headed glory as portrayed by Uma Thurman. Besides her we’ve only seen Rosario Dawson who stars as Persephone, but we want more! This movie is filled with larger than life mythological characters but they won’t show them. Maybe they want a grand reveal in the film or the final trailer, their logic at this point is unclear.

The film centers on Poseidon’s son, a 12-year-old boy, who sets out on a quest in present-day America to rescue his mother, return Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt and prevent a civil war from erupting among the gods. As you can see, the actor in the lead role is not a 12 year old, so it’s safe to assume that they age him a bit in the movie.
