Anna Faris has become a hot commodity in the comedy world, so it’s no surprise that the actress has just landed two gigs back to back. First off, we can expect to see Faris team up with her Just Friends co-star Ryan Reynolds in TMI, and then she’ll appear alongside the legendary Robin Williams in Wedding Banned.
TMI will have Faris and Reynolds sharing the lead roles in the film that’s “scripted by Kirsten “Kiwi” Smith and Marc Klein, the comic premise is that while honesty is the best policy for a relationship, “too much information” might not be the best thing.” Next in line is Wedding Banned, a movie that will have Faris starring as a young woman who’s kidnapped on her wedding day by her divorced parents in an effort to keep her from making the same mistake they did.
At the moment Williams and Faris are the only actors who’ve been cast in the film, the role of the mother is still open. For some odd reason, Bonnie Hunt seems like the perfect fit for that part. Anyway, Faris is on the move with these two jobs, plus the previously announced Yogi Bear movie she’s taken on with Justin Timberlake and Dan Aykroyd. She’ll be everywhere for the next few years, so get used to it.
What do you think of Faris’ latest roles?
