The Blind Side Featurette
This weekend vampires won’t be the only ones tackling the box office. Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw will both star in The Blind Side, an inspirational sports story about professional football player Michael Oher. The film is based on the book of the same name, which was penned by Michael Lewis, and adapted for the screen by writer- director John Lee Hancock. A featurette has just been released that includes interviews from the cast as well as the real Michael Oher who is portrayed by Quinton Aaron in the film.
As previously stated, The Blind Side is based on a true story about a well off family who took in an impoverished youth off the streets of Memphis. That youth became a football sensation at his high school, and ended up playing at a collegiate level, which kicked off his NFL career. Bullock stars as Leigh Anne Tuohy, the woman who single handedly made it her business to get Oher off the streets and into her home. Not that many people would give such a helping hand to a perfect stranger, but the Tuohy family did just that.
The Blind Side hits theaters on Friday, November 20, 2009.

I love this new video, It's a indepth aspect of everyone. I'm so glad the Tuohy family took this kid in and gave him a new lease on life. It was great to hear Michael Oher talk about his family. I can't wait to see the movie, it will be a tear jerker, but with a great ending.watching the Ravens with Oher play now on Monday Night Football- Go Michael.
