A Mean Streets/ Taxi Driver reunion is about to take place in one of the most unsuspecting films. The dysfunctional family comedy Little Fockers will be joined by the presence of Harvey Keitel. According to Reuters, the legendary actor has signed on for a role in the movie that will have him working closely with Ben Stiller‘s character, Gaylord ‘Greg’ Focker.
Little Fockers, is the working title for the the third installment of the Meet the Parents franchise and will feature the return of series regulars De Niro, Stiller, Teri Polo, Blythe Danner, and Owen Wilson. Keitel will join other newbies in the cast such as Laura Dern and Jessica Alba. His character is described as a contractor employed by Stiller’s character. What does Gaylord do for a living that he has contractors working under him?
Paul Weitz has taken on the directing duties for the new sequel, which follows the two previous films that were helmed by Jay Roach.
