Extraordinary Measures is a drama that’s based on a true story, and features the acting talents of Harrsion Ford, Brendan Fraser, and Keri Russell in the lead roles. CBS Films have released two posters and a trailer for the film thanks to the people over at Yahoo and Collider. Extraordinary Measures is directed by Tom Vaughan and is slated for release on January 22, 2010.

Both posters for this film are a bit unsettling, due to the excessive airbrushing. There’s no need for these actors to look like extras from Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Also, the first photo with the close up on Harrison and Brendan looks terribly out of place. At first glance, it looks like they Photoshopped Ford from one of his Jack Ryan movies. He just doesn’t look natural here.
As for the trailer, it plays up the melodrama and tries to add a bit of lighthearted comedy at the end, but for the most part it pulls at your heartstrings. The film is about a couple, whose two young children are diagnosed with a fatal disease. While looking for a health alternative, the husband finds an unconventional scientist with whom he works to develop a life saving drug.
