Early Kick-Ass Teaser Trailer
By Krystal Clark
The official teaser trailer for Kick-Ass wasn’t supposed to drop until Friday, but somehow it found its way online. Let me tell you up front, this trailer only touches the tip of the ice berg in terms of what this movie really has to offer. It highlights a lot of the humor and introduces the main characters, but doesn’t give everything away, which is great!
Check out the first trailer for Kick-Ass…
The film stars Aaron Johnson as the title character Kick-Ass, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Nicolas Cage as his co-conspirators in the world of vigilante justice. For the most part, a lot of the violence in the film is downplayed as it should be for general audiences, because the grittiness can’t really be seen with this piece of footage.
At this year’s Comic-Con, they showed several scenes from the film, and Hit Girl (Moretz) is NO JOKE. This teaser will do for now, but hold out for the theatrical version, you might be able to see some of the good stuff when that version comes out.
Kick-Ass hits theaters on April 16, 2010, is based off the Mark Millar comic of the same name, and is directed by Matthew Vaughn.
