Clash of the Titans Teaser Trailer
By Krystal Clark
How many awesome trailers can debut in one day?! First Kick-Ass and now Warner Bros has released the first teaser for Louis Letterier‘s Clash of the Titans. The film is a grittier remake of the 1981 epic based on several stories from Greek mythology. The cast is led by Sam Worthington as Perseus and Liam Neeson as his father Zeus, and with those two involved do you really need another reason to check the movie out?
Watch the first trailer for Clash of the Titans...
The ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus is helpless to save his family from Hades, vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.
This definitely isn’t your father’s Clash of the Titans. It looks as if the studio wanted to stay far away from the original version, and this might be one of the rare occasions where that method works. The film was already in my sights when Worthington was announced to star, but after watching this trailer Titans has become a definite must see for the spring of 2010.
Clash of the Titans hits theaters on March 26, 2010.
