New Sherlock Holmes Trailer

A third movie trailer has been released for Warner Bros’ adaptation of Sherlock Holmes, and it’s just as awesome as the previous ones. The film is directed by British director Guy Ritchie and features Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in the famous roles of Sherlock Holmes and his sidekick Dr. John Watson.

At first, when the news broke that Downey and Law would portray the detective duo many were somewhat skeptical. Not because of their talent, but because of their chemistry. All actors don’t mesh well together but these two do. Who would have thought that Sherlock Holmes could be produced as an action comedy with an old school Lethal Weapon twist?
The film is scheduled for release on Christmas Day, and will have plenty of competition for your box office dollars. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, the musical Nine, and Avatar will hit theaters around the same time, so which will you choose? On a side note, is anyone else out there waiting for Watson to say, “No sh*t, Sherlock?” It has to happen at some point in the film, it just has to.

My family, friends and I are all going to see Sherlock Holmes! It looks to be a fantastic film! Robert Downey Jr looks wonderful as he always does and he and Jude seeem to have a great screen chemistry together. We all can't wait to see it!!!!
Some of us went to the Toronto film festival and saw some of the others you did and didn't mention. We didn't care for them at all. Avatar and Nine I am just not interested in. I saw the play 8 1/2 a few years back. Same thing different number. I couldn't understand how so many women could be so very very stupid. There is more than one man out there!! C'mon! His pe*** isn't gold!! Why fight over him? I'm not a Daniel Day Lewis fan, he is just not that hot , so I'd laugh through the whole thing , wondering why all those women were that stupid. All of my friends said the same thing. We'll leave Avatar to the fans of that type of thing.
