New Despicable Me Trailer
By Krystal Clark
A new trailer has finally been released for the upcoming animated feature, Despicable Me. The movie features the voice talent of Steve Carell as its main character, Gru one of the world’s most devious supervillains. The newest trailer expands a bit on what we saw in the previous teaser, and concentrates more on Gru and his antics. It’s an interesting sight, and be sure to check out the random hip hop music that plays at the end of the clip. It’s awesome.

Here’s what happens in the film:
In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru, planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad.
Despicable Me hits theaters on July 9, 2010, and like every movie these days it will be presented in 3-D. The film is directed by Chris Meledandri and Pierre Coffin, and co-stars too many people but here they go: Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig, Danny McBride, Jemaine Clement and Julie Andrews.
