Prince of Persia International Trailer
By Krystal Clark
Let’s give the trailer for Disney’s Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time another try shall we? Yesterday, the domestic trailer for the film was released to somewhat mixed reviews, and today the studio has released a new international version. The latest trailer actually shows more footage from the film, but still manages to keep the creepy narration of Gemma Arterton.
Check out the international trailer for the Prince of Persia...
There’s a lot less talking from Jake Gyllenhaal in this trailer so those of you who complained about his accent can relax. Also, Ben Kingsley was completely shut out as the film’s main villain, instead this cut concentrates on the main objective of the story, which is the dagger that contains the sands of time. It also highlights Prince Dastan and Princess Tamina’s relationship a little more than the domestic version.
All of you who stated that the film looks like The Mummy or Pirates of the Caribbean are absolutely right, it does, except the special effects are a lot more “golden.” Jerry Bruckheimer sure has a way of making blockbuster fantasy films, that are pegged to make a lot of money. Do you think this one will?
What do you think of the international trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time? Is it better or worse?
