Are we having another Paranormal Activity issue here? Fans are having a hard time finding Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day in theaters. It looks like we’re going to have another situation where movie goers will have to “demand it” at their local theater. According to Associated Content, screenings for the film are few and far between so fans will have a hard time catching a show.

Boondock Saints 2 will hit theaters today in a very limited release, the film will only pop up in about 65 venues this Halloween weekend, which sucks! The majority of these screenings will take place in Los Angeles and New York, and if you’re one of the millions who don’t live in those cities, you’re screwed.

You can search online to see if you’re one of the lucky ones who can get their hands on a ticket but other than that you have to wait it out like the rest of the world. Some people aren’t taking this neglect laying down, as several online petitions have been created to generate theater expansion for the film.

Paranormal Activity is a bait and switch of The Blair Witch Project and it’s found itself in almost every major city thanks to grass roots campaigning. Can we do the same for Boondock Saints 2?

I've been waiting 10 year for the sequel to the original great movie, only to find out it's only releasing in 2 isolated areas of the country?! Come on! I think the fanbase deserves better than this. I can say with confidence that theaters would be packed for this. I will own this on BluRay as soon as I can however I want to see this on the big screen. I think I speak for alot of upset fans when I say, WE WANT THE SAINTS!

My family and I have watched the first one so many times we playact it out. Now we live in the Chicago area and we cannot believe that it isn't showing anywhere near us. How is that possible? And the movie industry wonders why their movies are bootlegged, copies they won't get paid for, because of crap like this.

I can't believe this, the sequel to my all time favorite is finally out in theaters and i can't go watch it. This is such bullshit! I don't think sony realizes how many fans this movie truly has. All my friends and I are HUGE fans and i make sure to share how awesome it is to anyone who hasn't seen the boondock saints. Im guessing the reason they decided to only release it in limited theatres nationwide is because it basically took them the full 10 years to get the rights to make the sequal…..the first one was never even released in theatres cuz its original release date was a month after the Columbine shootings…..dont worry im just as pissed as the rest when i found out that they are not even showing it in the state of wisconsin….would have loved to see it on the big screen……but for now….. bit torrent here i come…..

actually the film only brought in a little over 7 million in dvd sales. considering dark night brought in 1 billion dollars i don't think it was anywhere near that. i love the saints and all but chill. its opening nationwide nov. 13th.

Oct 30th was my birthday and the biggest thing I wanted to do was to see that movie, but since I live in the DC area, which it not being here dumb founds me, I didn't get to see it. I will have to drive up to Philly just to see this movie this weekend. I will gladly suck it up though and am at the very least, grateful it is playing that close since I know many people are a lot more than a couple hours away from the nearest showing.

How is it that ASD (All Saints Day) was screened in my po-dunk hometown of Cortland, NY (SUNY Cortland), but now we can't catch it in State College, PA? We would have packed the theatres, but SONY made sure Michael Jackson's crap was here. Who is running the asylum up there at Sony's distribution arm?
