The problem with some of the people on this list is that they are typecasted and don't really get to show off their talent off that much… except Megan Fox. There's no talent there at all.

@ JoeT – glad to hear someone else say it!!! I've been pounding my head against the wall for years trying to figure out what people see in Denzel… He, like Dennis Quaid, is totally one note (i.e. constantly angry): being pissed at EVERYTHING does not equate to good acting.

I might have thought that about Keanu before I saw the Gift, The Devil's Advocate and the Lake House. He is subtle and isn't one of those in your face actors. He reminds me a little of Clint Eastwood in his delivery. I think Keanu is one of those actors that will get his due as he gets older and finally picks the role that the critics will appreciate.

I disagree about Dennis Quaid. he made a great Doc Holliday in Kevin Costner's own Wyatt Earp. And he was good in The Rookie.
Kevin Costner can act but he doesn't "emote" a lot… he's like a modern Gary Cooper; an Everyman.
They aren't supposed to be supersensitive types. Manly men.
Keanu is terribly robotic at times but redeemed himself for me in The Replacements and The Lake House. pretty darn good.
Otherwise I like your list. Please add Cameron Diaz. I mean, awful. Just so forced are all her performances. I will never "get" the whole appeal there. I don't even think she's beautiful! Oy.
The perfect role for her was in Vanilla Sky so she could be annoying and pathetic.
