For those of you who are obsessed with any and everything related to The Beatles, here’s a trailer you have to watch. Nowhere Boy is the tale of an adolescent John Lennon thriving in England, while falling in love with music. The film stars Aaron Johnson as Lennon, and yes I’m referring to the Aaron Johnson who stars in the upcoming comic adaptation, Kick-Ass. Either way, the kid looks good in the film. He’s not a spitting image of John, but his speaking voice is eerily familiar.

The highlight of Nowhere Boy for most of us will be watching the formation of one of the most influential rock bands of all time. As if that wasn’t sentimental enough, Thomas Sangster, the young actor who plays Paul McCartney in the film, is the same kid who played the role of Liam Neeson‘s lovesick son in the romantic comedy Love, Actually. Where does time go?

Nowhere Boy will hit theaters in the U.K. this Christmas, but a U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
