Sherlock Holmes Theatrical Poster
By Krystal Clark
An official theatrical poster has been released for Sherlock Holmes and it features the film’s leading men front and center. Holmes is the action packed, updated version of the classic literary character as portrayed by Robert Downey Jr. It also co-stars Jude Law as his sidekick Watson, and Rachel McAdams as his love interest, Irene Adler. The film is directed by Guy Ritchie and is scheduled to hit theaters this Christmas.

I like the poster and the old time feel it represents. I do have to admit that Downey’s pants are a bit distracting for me, but other than that everything looks great. I think Jude was born to play Watson, there’s no one else who could do it for me, just look at him!

I absolutely love the new poster. Actually Roberts' pants don't bother me. I do believe Robert Downey Jr. could wear anything and look fantastic in it! That said, I do think Robert and Jude are perfectly paired as Holmes and Watson. The new trailer convinced me of that. They play very well off of each other and as friends are very evenly matched. I am looking forward to seeing the movie. I am sure it will be great! In the poster both Robert and Jude look sexy, it should be a Merry Christmas indeed!

That is the best poster so far. Love it. Jude is born to play Watson, yeah just look at him. He was born to play Hamlet too. I watched his Hamlet and was blown away. Awesome actor. RDJ is good too so I'm looking forward to Sherlock Holmes on Xmas day.

Downey just doesn't cut it as Holmes. The look, the hairstyle, sometimes unshaven, sometimes not, the clothes…all are wrong.
