Nine Behind the Scenes Footage

Over at Yahoo, they’ve unleashed a new video promoting Rob Marshall‘s upcoming musical Nine. Unlike traditional trailers, this is a behind the scenes rehearsal featurette that intertwines with shots from the actual film. It’s quite entertaining, and you get to see the actors out of character. The video highlights the ladies of the cast (sorry Daniel), so check out their hard work in action.

The film is based on the Broadway play of the same name, and centers on a middle aged director trying to complete his latest movie. Unfortunately, the filmmaking process becomes a tedious task when his personal relationship with various women begins to interfere with his work.

For the longest it was stated that Nine would hit theaters on November 25th, and like everything else in this season it got pushed back to Christmas. The film has a cast filled with Academy and Grammy Award winners including Daniel Day-Lewis, Nicole Kidman, Marion Cotillard, Penelope Cruz, Sophia Loren, and Stacy “Fergie” Ferguson.
