Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer Star in Open House

How much Sookie and Bill Compton action can one person take? I love True Blood, but that duo does nothing for me. Over at DreadCentral they’re reporting that real life couple Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin, are teaming up for a feature film entitled, Open House. This project keeps it all in the family, because it marks the directorial debut of Paquin’s brother Andrew.

Open House will center on (wait for it) “a wealthy couple in a strained marriage who host an open house in order to sell their palatial home. They are horrified to find out days later that one potential buyer never left their home.” The film is said to be in post-production even though I don’t remember hearing about it being in pre-production. Some of the cast includes Battlestar Gallactica alum Tricia Helfer, and former Clueless (TV series) star, Rachel Blanchard.

Paquin’s feature film career seems to have died down a bit while Moyer’s is on the move. He’s been cast in the graphic novel adaptation of Priest opposite Paul Bettany. True Blood has been a saving grace for a lot of the actors on the show who needed a career boost. Mr. Eric Northman aka Alexander Skarsgard is currently filming the remake of Straw Dogs opposite James Marsden and Kate Bosworth.
