Jim Carrey Gains Weight for Three Stooges Movie

Even though The Three Stooges movie seemed like it was dead in the water after Sean Penn jumped ship, it’s still alive and kicking. The actor was replaced by Paul Giamatti, and the hilarious trio is set with Jim Carrey and Benicio del Toro as the title characters. Besides Giamatti’s casting, the latest big news surrounding the film has to with Carrey’s massive weight gain for his part as Curly.
According to the Examiner, Jim Carrey is trying to pack on 50 pounds to star as the chubby member of the trio. He recently showed up at a charity event in Los Angeles appearing a little heavier than usual. He was even sporting a shaggy beard, which I don’t think is relevant to Curly’s look unless the Farrelly Brothers are trying to do something new.
It’s hard for me to see any of these men, with the exception of Paul as the characters their supposed to portray. Sure, Jim is goofy and can do comedy but even with a shaved head, I’m not sure if he can pull it off.
What do you think of Jim’s Curly look?

I wonder if the Farrelly Brothers can do this justice. will it be an “update”? Something akin to the “Beverly Hillbillies” remake. Let’s hope this movie is true to the facts.

well im not quite shure but i would think jim carrey is a fantastic actor with any role that he acts he can play it off but from this point of view im not quite shure but maybe he can pull it off….:D
