New Shutter Island Trailer

The second trailer for Martin Scorsese‘s thriller Shutter Island, has been released and it’s creepy as ever. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Mark Ruffalo as U.S. marshals sent to an exclusive mental hospital to investigate a woman’s disappearance. Once they arrive, they’re treated more like patients than members of the government, and slowly but surely they discover the inmates on the island might not be so crazy after all.

Shutter Island was originally scheduled for release this month, October 2nd to be exact, but Paramount decided to push it back to next year. The film will now debut in theaters on February 19, 2010. This movie has all the makings of a great fall film, but instead we have to wait another four months before we can get our psychotic DiCaprio fix. Thanks a lot, studio politics!
