Although The September Issue, opened in select theaters on September 11th, we just realized that we never put up the trailer. Whoops. Well, at least for it’s second week in theaters, when hopefully it will be open in a few more cities you can check out the trailer.

The documentary is about Anna Wintour, the real life editor of Vogue, which inspired such imitations as Meryl Streeps character in The Devil Wears Prada and TV shows like “Ugly Betty.” The title refers to the annual, fabled fashion tome, The September Issues, which like they say in the film; “September is the January in fashion,” which I don’t really understand, can someone clarify?

The film documents the making of 2007 edition, which ended up weighing nearly five pounds because it was 840 pages, and was the single largest issue of a magazine ever published in 117 years of the publication.
