indiana jones 4 Indiana Jones V Script Update

Indiana Jones V is coming to a theater near you sooner than later.  After the massive commercial success of the last film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of The Crystal Skull, talk quickly sprung up about another sequel. Soon after that, we got a slight confirmation from co-star Shia Labeouf that the story for a new film had been “cracked” by George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Now, Harrison Ford is throwing in his two cents about the status of the script.

Over at IGN they’ve got a few quotes from Indy himself regarding the development status of the film.

“The story for the new Indiana Jones is in the process of taking form. Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”

This is really happening. By the time Ford puts the costume back on he’ll be knocking on 70 years old. If it were any other actor I would have some serious concerns about his health, but you have to admit that he looks great for his age. Perhaps his fountain of youth stems from the earring that he always wears. I’m telling you, Ford and  Morgan Freeman wear their hoops and studs with no shame. I might be interested in seeing him don the fedora one more time.

What do you think about the developments regarding the fifth Indiana Jones film?
