Up in the Air Teaser Trailer

Yesterday we brought you a clip from Jason Reitman‘s upcoming film Up in the Air, which stars George Clooney, Vera Farmiga, and Anna Kendrick. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on December 4th, and after watching this trailer I’m in. The sad undertone in the music and Clooney’s monologue mixed with the comedic faces and seemingly joyful time really get under your skin… probably because something about them rings true to life. You have to really listen to what Clooney is saying in the narration to get the full effect. Check it out again.

And who would have thought Zach Galifianakis would be playing a business man in a film starring George Clooney? Definitely some interesting choices in here.

Up in the Air centers on a corporate downsizing expert who travels all over the US in pursuit of more opportunities to fire people. As he approaches the 10million* frequent flyer miles milestone and meets the frequent-flying woman of his dreams (Farmiga), his cherished lifestyle is threatened as his company wants to move him to headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska.
