First CGI Smurf Movie Poster

I thought I could forget about the upcoming Smurfs film, but they won’t let me. It’s coming and there’s nothing we can do to stop it. The Smurfs is being revamped by Sony Pictures Animation and will be produced in glorious CGI. Over at ComingSoon they’ve released the first official poster for the movie, and it gives us a good idea of what we can expect from the film.

What’s so sad, is that the CGI doesn’t look that bad. I want to hate this movie, but how can you not like the Smurfs? I can understand Snorks, but not the Smurfs. As you can see the film will hit theaters during the 2010 holiday season, December 17th to be exact! It will be going head to head with the recently moved Green Hornet movie. That should be an interesting showdown. Blue versus green, who will win?

OMG this is awesome, i used to watch the smurfs every morning down here in OZ and cant wait for the movie. I will defiantly be taking my daughter!
