New Moon Photos: Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, Jamie Campbell-Bower

The Twilight Saga: New Moon photos have been coming out of the woodwork today. First, we got a look at Cameron Bright as Alec Volturi, and now we get to meet the rest of his clan. Official promo images have been released for Dakota Fanning, Michael Sheen, and Jamie Campbell-Bower from the film. I’m sure for any die hard fan these pics will be depressingly, delightful.

In New Moon, the Volturi are a different breed of vampire, with a lot more history than the Cullen’s. Director Chris Weitz recently spoke to MTV about how he came up with some of the casting for the crew.
I think that’s what Michael Sheen managed to portray as Aro, the head of the Volturi — on the surface he’s terribly gracious, warm, a wonderful host and at the same time he’s lethal and frightening. It’s also what Dakota Fanning conveys as Jane. She’s innocent looking in appearance but she’s absolutely deadly.
Speaking of Jane, from my understanding she is the twin sister of Alec, yet I see a stronger resemblance between her and Caius. I must admit that Michael Sheen does look amazing in character. That man can take any role and turn it into gold. Jamie Campbell-Bower scares me a bit, but I’m assuming that’s the intention of his character.
