James Bond portrayer Daniel Craig has made a psychological thriller his next film. According to Variety, the actor has been confirmed to star in the Morgan Creek production, Dream House. This is obviously an ironic title that contrasts with the horrific storyline that accompanies the movie.
Find out more on Craig and his role below…
Dream House will be directed by Jim Sheridan and centers on “a New York publishing exec (Craig) who relocates his family to a small New England town only to learn that their new home was the scene of a vicious murder.” The film was written by David Loucka, and co-produced by Ehren Krueger. Dream House will start filming on January 25th of next year. This is perfect timing for Craig who will be wrapping up his Broadway stint in A Steady Rain.
I enjoy Sheridan and Craig’s work, but I realized one of the producers here is Ehren Krueger. Mr. Krueger had a hand in Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. I don’t know if I can trust him on this. Hopefully, David Loucka’s script balances everything out. Sheridan is also a multiple Academy Award nominated director, and I’m assuming his charm hasn’t rubbed off for this one.
