An international trailer has been released for Roland Emmerich‘s latest disaster film 2012. The language of choice is Japanese, but the visuals are universal. I saw some of this footage at Comic-Con, and it looked like downright fun! This trailer just reinforces my impression from that screening.
Check out the latest trailer below…
The year 2012 has been at the center of a heated debate for what seems like forever. Various cultures suspect that it will be the year the world ends, and mankind is brought to it’s knees. In the film Roland Emmerich makes sure he captures that devastation with actors John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Danny Glover, Oliver Platt, and Thandie Newton.
This man’s films are a real guilty pleasure for me. He makes good, old fashioned disaster movies that are highly entertaining. I’m not sure how many times he can destroy the White House or Capital Hill, but I enjoy watching him do it!
2012 hits theaters (figuratively and literally) on November 13th.
What do you think about the Japanese trailer for 2012?
