The Basterds smashed their way to number one this past weekend, sadly, not with the $50+ million they deserved, but number one none-the-less. It seems like a slow weekend for movie theaters, none of the numbers are that impressive. Robert Rodriguez‘s kid’s film Shorts, had a slow start, it only managed to come up with $6 million. Meanwhile, G.I Joe hasn’t dropped out of the top three, but it still didn’t make much.
