Harry Potter Deathly Hallows Movie Spoilers!
By Krystal Clark
This past summer Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince hit theaters and made quite a bit of money. It’s no surprise that the last book in the series from which the films are based has been split in two. Since the announcement that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will be broken up, fans everywhere have been trying to figure out at what point the split will happen. More on Potter and a few spoilers below.
According to MTV, we may have gotten our confirmation as to where the first film will end and the second begins. At a recent Q&A event with Joshua Herdman who plays Goyle in the films, he spilled the beans on the final movie’s questionable set up.
“Part one of “Deathly Hallows” will close right after Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), Ron (Rupert Grint) and Hermione (Emma Watson) are captured by the Snatchers. Part two will open as the trio and their captors arrive at Malfoy Manor. So that’s that.”
That’s not all folks, the actor also gave some major plot spoilers, which includes an imminent death!
He went on to confirm that his character will be the Slytherin henchman who dies, not Crabbe (played by Jamie Waylett), as it is written in the book. MuggleNet states that the change came after Waylett was arrested and convicted of cannabis possession, and that he is not expected to have a part in “Deathly Hallows.”
See kids, crime doesn’t pay. Even though this is some juicy info, you have to be objective about it.The director and producers have made it clear that things could very well change again. So, keep that in mind.

Omg wow!! Well, I can't waitttt for this movie.

I think the split should be right after Ron rejoins them in the tent in the forest. You get sort of a sense of calm but yet a feeling of, "okay, now they can kick some ASS!" When I was reading it (just this week), I thought that felt like a good splitting point…and it's right about in the middle….but I don't work in Hollywood, so what do I know?

i cant imagine watching that part in the movie and then having to wait another year to see the rest even if i have read the book. they just picked a cliffhanger to split it

Well, they deff choose a place to keep the public awaiting the second part immensely. As for the readers, I think the split should have been whenever he saw the doe, and then when it seems like Harry drowns, it should end the movie. And, at the beginning of the second movie it's dark…and you hear a bunch of splashing as Ron pulls Harry out of the pond. I can just imagine it being an awfull success. But that's just me.

You don't have to wait a year after the first half, part 2 will be just 5-6 months after, so that way you will probably already own the first part unless they release both parts together on DVD. Hmmm, I wonder what they will do about that….

i think the split shuld happen right after dobby is burried.

Tuesday, September 1, 2009 6:05PM
i think they should spend a few extra dollars and make a 4hour finally and capture every detail the book has come on people do it for the fans i was really dissapointed in the half blood prince where was all the magic ??? and the final battel at the school was nothing like i had imagned
Sunday, September 6, 2009 11:46PM
heck there was no battle at the school…at least nothing we saw and what about Bill and Fleur? And the most disturbing part of the movie…when in the sixth book did the Burrow ever go down in flames…ridiculous!
Wednesday, September 9, 2009 2:41PM
sooo right mac the battel at hogwarts for the dethly hallows had better be good
Wednesday, September 9, 2009 2:44PM

Sunday, September 13, 2009 11:44AM
Hey i watched it yesterday cuz i had heard many bad things…But what about the horcruxes in the book says clearly and explains them one by one…in the movie…NOT pffff…
Thursday, September 17, 2009 2:36AM
That's what I think too, that's basically where a halfway point felt when I read the book.
Monday, September 21, 2009 11:36PM
Makes me so sad that Lupin and Tonks die!!! Hope the show it….
Tuesday, October 27, 2009 1:19AM
Yah but it would make it suspenceful when the snatchers come because even if u haven't read the book u know they are going to take them to voldemort.
Friday, November 13, 2009 8:26AM
i dont think they would make 2 seperate movies if they werent going for all the details but THEY BETTER i dont htink rowling did all that writing to make a weak movie out of it but honestly if im upset with the movie il go back and read the book thats just how it works i guess
for the people who havent read it they dont understand the dissapointment for us fellow book readers
Friday, November 20, 2009 9:46PM
Part 1 should end when they plot to break into Gringotts.
Friday, November 20, 2009 9:49PM
I sure hope they do a better job at explaining the horcruxes this time. I couldn't believe how they were barely mentioned in HBP. Only those who read the books understood what they were. The Battle of Hogwarts better be awesome since they chose to completely leave it out of HBP (what BS!). I hope HPDH ends up being the best of them all.
Friday, February 5, 2010 5:59PM
hope the movie will be even better…
Wednesday, February 10, 2010 9:12AM
I think the split should be right after the cottage scene cuz after that it is calm until it goes back to what is happening with voldemort looking for the wand and everything sets off again
Wednesday, February 24, 2010 11:50AM
I think they should have slit it after Ron returns to the tent because it's a semi-happy ending. What is Hermione/ Emma doing burying Dobby she's supposed to be sick and tortured. I really hope they don't screw up the movie and they better explain all the Horcruxes. I don't know how they're going to do because in the sixth book they had a hunch about what they were but in the movie they said that they didn't have an idea of what is was.
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 2:59AM
Sounds good hopefully its detailed cause i love the last book soooo sad …… such a long wait for part 2 but it'll be worth the wait love harry potter
Thursday, April 15, 2010 8:59PM
Hope they stay true to the book this time. The other movies have been a little disapoiinting as they haven't really followed the books real close. These next two, hopefully don't miss any of the great details. The last book was great and hopefully so will the next two movies.

Nothing is wrong. These are read over and approved by hand by real humans. We're not machines!
